Members of the Burlington Breakfast Rotary were part of a team participating in the Walk for Hunger held at the Burlington High School Track. Proceeds will benefit People Helping People Food Pantry, a vital organization in the town of Burlington.

Miles for Mental Health

Miles for Mental Health
On October 20, Burlington Breakfast Rotary participated in the Miles for Mental Health walk at Marshall Simons Middle School track. The 5K walk was sponsored by lululemon and Kris Fabbri of Sh;ft, a new fitness club focusing on mental health. Burlington Breakfast Rotary also sponsored the awesome t-shirts for the walk in partnership with Christine Conceision, District Director of Mental Health for Burlington Schools! Can't wait to participate again next year!

Buddy Bench Donation

Buddy Bench Donation
We are excited that the "Buddy Bench" was successfully placed at Fox Hill Elementary school on January 24, 2024. The Buddy Bench is available to over 500 students to experience a safe space for talking, making new friends, celebrating achievements, discovering, and connecting with each other.
 
This project is a successful collaboration between School representatives, district and BBRC team.

BBRC Donates to People Helping People
Burlington Breakfast Rotary made a donation of much needed toiletries to People Helping People on Monday, Feb. 6. Many boxes of shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body wash, toothpaste, toilet tissue, tissues and baby wipes were brought to their new facility on Murray Ave., Burlington. What a wonderful service People Helping People gives to those in need in our community!

Special Evening at Princess Diamonds
As a special Christmas treat, on Dec. 11, Princess Diamonds welcomed Burlington Breakfast Rotary for a special evening of fellowship and shopping. It was wonderful viewing all the gorgeous, sparkling jewelry in the store. Many of us made purchases for that someone special on our Christmas list! Princess Diamonds also presented us with a lovely spread of appetizers and beverages. Thank you Princess Diamonds!
